Accessing Your Safe Deposit Box
To access to your safe deposit box, ensure that you have your safe deposit box key on hand. A representative will escort you from the Custer Federal State Bank lobby to the safe deposit box area; then have you sign an on-file access log. After signing an access log, a representative will help you unlock your box from the vault; then give you privacy to conduct any business you may need to. Once you have finished your business, a representative will aid you in replacing and locking your safe deposit box in its designated spot inside the vault.
Safety
The safety of safe deposit box contents is Custer Federal State Bank's number one priority in the sale and access of safe deposit boxes. For safety purposes, each safe deposit box is secured by two keys - one key is held by the customer, and the second key is kept secure by Custer Federal State Bank staff. For record-keeping purposes, safe deposit box owners are required to log each date and time he or she attains access his or her safe deposit box.
